RollingOrder™ Functional Description

RollingBank's alliance partner, RollingDigital, one of the Internet's top web hosting companies for ecommerce, created an online transaction processing system that is totally unique in the industry. We call it RollingBank™, and unlike any competitor, it has a powerful marketing engine, known as the Polylinear Marketing Program™, fully integrated into it. “PMP” provides a versatile ecommerce advantage. It empowers merchants to promote and sell their products in a multitude of ways never thought possible before. Competing systems are merely ecommerce shopping cart utilities by comparison. RollingBank is capable of handling a wide variety of online electronic transactions, including business to business (“B2B”), business to consumer (“B2C”) and person to person (“P2P”) transactions.

Additionally, recent strategic alliances give RollingBank the capability of processing transactions both “ON” and “OFF” the Web. Included below is a case study that explains many of RollingOrder’s features and casts light on its future potential.

Polylinear Marketing™ (one patent pending, another in process) is a way of creating a cashless economy. It allows individuals as well as businesses to benefit from common day-to-day activities. To achieve this goal, RollingBank’s Polylinear Marketing Program has four major promotional programs that drive revenues and provide the ultimate merchant account agent opportunity. These revenues are derived from:

Sales of products and services
Affiliate marketing referrals
Non-web-based or “field” promoters
Pay for performance reward systems
eCommerce transaction processing fees
Levied fee agreements
Cashless transaction processing fees

Sales of Products and Services
A case history will be useful in explaining how all of this works. EnviroRx is a world class environmental firm, specializing is a wide range of business activities including: consulting, contracting, laboratory analysis and product sales. They recently ecommercized their business and placed on it the products they have been selling for years using traditional marketing methodologies. They selected RollingBank to provide and manage their ecommerce platform because it was the only option flexible enough to provide the services they needed.

Banner and Text Ad Program for Affiliate Marketing Referrals
An amazing number of businesses, from Internet companies like Amazon, to brick and mortar companies like Avon, Delta Airlines and FTD Florists have adopted affiliate marketing as a major advertising tool for generating leads. It makes perfect sense. Affiliate marketing is entirely performance based—ad fees are only paid when a sale is made. Compared to traditional advertising, it’s practically free!

It works well for our affiliates too. All a customer needs to do is click on a banner or text ad on the affiliate-referrer’s website and the affiliate receives a commission on subsequent purchases. Most industry experts expect performance based advertising to become the predominant advertising business model in the not too distant future.

RollingBank’s affiliate program differs in several very important respects from affiliate systems that are commonly in use today. The first major difference is our program can easily be configured as a 1-, 2- or 3-tier system. By comparison, most competing programs are fixed 1-tier systems. 1-tier deep does not provide any incentive for promoters to share commission income opportunities with friends and associates. There is also the other extreme, which are enormously complicated multilevel marketing (“MLM”) pyramids (mlm merchant accounts). These are commonly 10 to 30 layers deep with each layer contributing to the mountain of requirements that must be met before commissions are paid. RollingBank’s no-nonsense program was designed to circumambulate the pitfalls inherent in both these systems.

EnviroRx, for example, opted to adopt a 2-tier program (see Fig 1). They already have several sales reps and distributors that actively promote and sell their products and services. They place enormous value on their distributors and agents, and didn’t want to do anything to lose them. The 2-tier system allows their existing sales group to service their territories as usual. Moreover, it allows the original reps to recruit a level of promoters to work under them and expand their marketing reach. Without RollingBank, this would not have been practical since the bookkeeping required to take the orders, safely collect the revenues, calculate and track all the accrued commissions, and efficiently disburse those commissions to the intended parties would be a logistical nightmare. RollingBank does it all automatically as part of its service offering, plus EnviroRx and their distributors have the added benefit of being able to monitor every transaction detail, in real-time, at the very moment it happens.

RollingBank gives EnviroRx the ability to set the commission structure for each and every product it carries to levels that make sense for that particular product. If a customer visits the Southeast Hygiene site, for example, clicks on the EnviroRx banner and purchases an air quality test kit. EnviroRx pays a 10% affiliate commission to Southeast Hygiene, and a 5% commission to CleanAir. The third tier is unfilled so the 2.5% commission allocated for that level is not paid. Of great importance to both EnviroRx and its affiliates is the comfort that all commissions are automatically captured by RollingBank at the point of sale and safely disbursed to all parties in a timely manner.

Promo Code Program for Non-Web-Based or “Field” Promoters
Some of EnviroRx sales reps and distributors are not web enabled. This is a deal-breaker for its competitors, it is not a problem for RollingBank. Since RollingBank’s affiliate marketing program works on and off the web, sales reps and distributors can book sales from their:

Home and office personal computers
Laptops and PDA’s
Web enabled cell phones
Email enable cell phones
Landline phones
Faxes
Even snail-mail can be used to input sales into the transaction processing system with full activation of all appropriate PMP programs

This extreme flexibility is simply not possible without RollingBank unless a company resorts to handling the associated bookkeeping using tedious, complicated, error-prone, manual processes. RollingBank includes all of its affiliate marketing services at no additional cost—they are included in the low transaction processing fee.

For those promoters who either temporarily or permanently do not have web access, there is a “Promo Code.” Every affiliate is issued a unique Promo Code (“promoter’s code”) that can be used to lock-in commissions for non-web-based transactions. For example, when a field rep calls in an order over a pay phone or voice only cell phone, the company’s secretary can enter the order on behalf of the sales rep and use the sales rep’s Promo Code to lock in the commission. Web based clients and sales reps do not need to use a Promo Code since cookies on their workstations automatically perform the task of commission tracking. Merchant

Residuals Program from eCommerce Transaction Processing Fees
Another unique feature of RollingBank is the ability for one merchant to profit by referring another merchant to the RollingBank family. RollingBank has it’s own built-in 3-tier program that pays merchant/referrers part of the transaction processing fees it derives from processing sales. This means merchants can sign-up other merchants below them and collect a percentage of all of the business done by merchants in their downline—down to three layers deep. In the case of EnviroRx, they were referred by an associated firm, Industrial Safety Corp., who was in turn referred by Riggs Environmental, who was referred by CyberCities.

Levied Fee Agreements
Yet another feature unique to RollingBank is the ability to collect fees from one merchant and automatically disbursed them to another. This can be done to collect a fixed amount or to collect fees in perpetuity under an ongoing deal. There are many applications for this service. EnviroRx, for example, has an agreement with Industrial Safety where it has agreed to pay Industrial Safety a royalty of 3% of its online sales in perpetuity. RollingBank automatically collects this royalty at the point of purchase and disburses it.

Another application for this service is a situation where a web developer has agreed to create an ecommerce website on behalf of a client for no “up-front” payment. Instead the developer opted to receive payment out of a percentage the business the site generates up to the pre-agreed amount. RollingBank collects and pays the levied fee on behalf of the developer, and automatically stops it when the total fee is collected. On a less pleasant note, RollingBank can also act as an agent of the court and securely receive funds imposed by judicial action.

This service is extremely versatile. Any RollingBank merchant can have any number of fixed and ongoing levied fee agreements with any number of other RollingBank merchants. Moreover, RollingBank’s fee for this service can be paid by either side. Potential applications are immense.

P2P Transaction Processing
RollingBank has entered into strategic alliances that give it the ability to process a wide variety of electronic “cashless” transactions. Also as a result of these alliances, RollingBank will soon be able to issue branded credit cards and debit cards through the VISA and MasterCard system. We will further be able to cost-effectively disburse electronic micropayments ranging from $0.01 to $10,000 between our B2B, B2C, and P2P members.

These transactions can be done by “wired” or “wireless” means and, like all the services outlined above, the transaction processing fees generated by these transactions can be “spiffed” to affiliates and promoters using RollingBank’s Polylinear Marketing Program™. Some examples of transactions made possible by computer and cell phone using this feature are:

Electronic transfer of money from one company to another
Electronic transfer of money from one person to another
Support “casual” selling activities such as flea markets, art fairs and yard sales
Support escrow transactions that sell higher priced items such as products, services and domain names

Summation
RollingOrder is a full-featured, ultra-secure, order-entry service that not only provides the means of processing a wide variety of web- and non-web-enabled transactions, it also includes the worlds’ most sophisticated performance marketing engine. The great benefit of this approach is the degree of safety and efficiency that results from fully integrating online transaction processing with a flexible affiliate marketing system.

When a customer purchases a product from a RollingBank merchant a group of unseen processes are activated. Since RollingBank is a service, no action is required by the customer, the merchant or the participating affiliates. Everything operates beneath everyone’s level of awareness. Here’s what happens:

2. Approval is received and funds are automatically captured by RollingOrder
3. Commissions, residuals and levied fees are calculated for all active levels
4. Invoices, shipping labels, and commission announcements are emailed to the customer, the merchant, and all affiliates
5. RollingBank collects and disburses all affiliate commissions
6. RollingBank collects and disburses ecommerce merchant residuals
7. RollingBank collects and disburses levied fees
8. Real-Time reports are posted and available for all appropriate parties to view
9. All this is generally accomplished in under 3 seconds.

Conclusion
RollingBank is the means of supporting the financial activities it calls the “Content Economy.” RollingDigital, RollingBank's alliance partner, has filed multiple Disclosure Documents with USPTO, has a world PCT patent pending, and another patent in process to protect this intellectual property. The RollingBank ecommerce transaction processing and affiliate marketing engine is fully operational and presently processing transactions.
